Parents · Budget and schedule
See the true cost before you commit.
Build one realistic picture of fees, travel, time, and household impact before accepting a place.
Put every expected cost in one place
- Registration and coaching fees
- Home and away uniforms, warm-ups, and replacement items
- League, tournament, facility, referee, or technology charges
- Hotels, transport, meals, parking, and missed work
- Optional camps, extra training, fundraising, and team gifts
Ask the club
- Which costs are fixed, estimated, optional, or still unknown?
- When are payments due, and what is refundable if the roster, coach, or schedule changes?
- Is financial aid available, and when must a family apply?
Count the time as well
- Door-to-door travel for a normal training week
- Expected weekends away and early departures
- Conflicts with school, siblings, work, and recovery
- Transportation plans when a parent cannot attend
Set the family limit before the offer
Agree on a budget, travel radius, and number of overnight events while there is no deadline pressure. A program can be excellent and still be wrong for this household right now.
