Parents · Budget and schedule

See the true cost before you commit.

Build one realistic picture of fees, travel, time, and household impact before accepting a place.

01

Put every expected cost in one place

  • Registration and coaching fees
  • Home and away uniforms, warm-ups, and replacement items
  • League, tournament, facility, referee, or technology charges
  • Hotels, transport, meals, parking, and missed work
  • Optional camps, extra training, fundraising, and team gifts
02

Ask the club

  1. Which costs are fixed, estimated, optional, or still unknown?
  2. When are payments due, and what is refundable if the roster, coach, or schedule changes?
  3. Is financial aid available, and when must a family apply?
03

Count the time as well

  • Door-to-door travel for a normal training week
  • Expected weekends away and early departures
  • Conflicts with school, siblings, work, and recovery
  • Transportation plans when a parent cannot attend
04

Set the family limit before the offer

Agree on a budget, travel radius, and number of overnight events while there is no deadline pressure. A program can be excellent and still be wrong for this household right now.
